The death toll in Israeli raids on several areas in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours has risen to at least 99 Palestinians killed and 169 injured, according to the Health Ministry.
Bombings targeted the Nuseirat, Bureij and Maghazi camps, Gaza City in the north, and Rafah and Khan Yunis in the south, the Al Jazeera Arabic channel reported.

West Bank Escalations – Ambulance Crew Shot and Injured, Scores Detained by Israeli Forces
Israeli occupation forces opened fire on an ambulance, injuring six paramedics, as they tried to evacuate injured Palestinians in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
“The occupation forces opened heavy fire at one of the association’s ambulances, wounding all the crew before they were able to hide inside a house,” the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said in a statement on Tuesday.
The PRCS condemned “the deliberate targeting of its crews by the Israeli occupation forces.”
Israel wiped out over 900 Palestinian families in Gaza
Gaza (Quds News Network)- The Israeli military has annihilated 902 Palestinian families in Gaza, erasing them from civil records by killing all of their members, according to a recent statement from the Government Media Office. This atrocity marks one year of the genocidal campaign conducted by Israeli forces with full support from the United States.
In addition to the complete destruction of these 902 families, the report also highlighted the devastation of 1,364 Palestinian households, where all members were killed except one survivor, and 3,472 families with only two remaining members.
Al-Aqsa Imam warns of Israeli plots for mosque's western wall
The head of the Higher Islamic Council in occupied al-Quds and Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque denounced the installment of an elevator at the western wall of the al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli occupation, considering it "part of a major plan to Judaize the area around the mosque."
Sheikh Ekrima Sabri slammed the Israeli plot, relaying that the occupation claims it helps facilitate the access of elderly Zionists and people with special needs into the holy site, as well as prepare the area for the aerial tramways that have been under construction for some time.
He further affirmed that "this is an attack on Islamic mortmain property because the land being built upon belongs to the Islamic Endowments [Awqaf] Authority."
Sheikh Sabri referred to the elevator project as an Israeli assault on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, emphasizing that the western wall is an integral part of the Islamic sacred site. He cautioned that the project is intended to alter the landscape in occupied al-Quds and around the mosque, aiming to assert the Israeli regime's dominance over the holy city.
The Israeli occupation has long been notorious for its violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the holiest site in occupied Palestine, which have sought to change the status quo at the Islamic holy site.
How Al-Qassam Avenged Nasrallah – Resistance Roundup – Day 363
The latest footage by Al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza could be considered the most significant of all such footage produced by the group since the start of the war on October 7, 2023.
Al-Qassam Brigades displayed scenes from the targeting of Israeli vehicles during their invasion of the Fakhari area east of the city of Khan Yunis.
00:56 Translation note:
"Today, from this blessed and pure place, we avenge all our righteous martyrs, so the whole world knows that Gaza and its heroic fighters do not forget those who stood by them, foremost among them the martyr, Allah willing, the leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was martyred and assassinated by the hands of treachery and betrayal. Today, God willing, we will avenge, alongside our brother fighters in the brotherly state of Lebanon, with God's permission, we will take revenge for the blood of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and the blood of all the martyrs of Lebanon and Palestine. We are brothers in blood and arms, by Allah's will. Continue Abu Al-Baraa."
Al-Qassam Brigades Claims Responsibility for Jaffa Operation
In detailing the attack, the statement explained that the fighters successfully infiltrated occupied territories, stabbing an occupation soldier and seizing his automatic weapon. They then launched a coordinated assault in two different locations within Tel Aviv, including a train station, where they engaged and eliminated Zionist forces at close range.
Addressing the occupiers, Al-Qassam warned, “In the coming days, death will come to you from various areas of the West Bank at the hands of our determined Mujahideen, the loyal sons of leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Saleh al-Arouri. These brave fighters are preparing to etch new chapters of heroism in the ongoing Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa, bringing joy to our people, God willing.”
“As long as the occupation continues to exterminate our people and children in Gaza, it should prepare to see its dead in the streets of our occupied cities, God willing,” the statement further stressed.

New US-British aggression targets Hodeidah Governorate
The US-British forces of aggression launched 4 raids on Hodeidah Governorate in northern Yemen, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported earlier on Thursday,
In a speech on Thursday, in which he addressed the developments of the Israeli aggression on Gaza and Lebanon, as well as regional and international updates, Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that the United States and "Israel" sought to escalate their aggression against the Yemeni people, launching 39 airstrikes on Yemen this week alone.
The Israeli aggression on Hodeidah has failed and will fail to force the YAF to halt its operations in support of Gaza and Lebanon, he made it clear.
Alongside the continuation of these operations, the Ansar Allah leader said Yemen's military capabilities are being further developed as part of the fifth phase of escalation against the Israeli occupation in support of the Palestinian people.
Yemen mourns, eulogizes martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
There is no fear on the Axis of Resistance, pointed out Mahdi al-Mashat, president of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, affirming that Sanaa will continue to provide all possible support "for liberation from the Zionist project and the restoration of Palestine and al-Quds."
In a speech during a memorial ceremony for Hezbollah Secretary-General, the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, al-Mashat, indicated that the response to the Israeli assassination of the Resistance leader came from Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq.
He underscored that "what we saw from Iran was a torrent of missiles that brought joy to all the free people of the world."
YAF struck deep into 'Israel' with Quds-5 cruise missiles: Saree
The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) struck military sites deep into the Israeli occupation entity using three Quds-5 cruise missiles that successfully reached their targets, YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on Wednesday.
Saree pointed out that the Israeli occupation authorities remain tight-lipped about the outcomes of the latest operation, adding that it comes in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and in solidarity with their Resistance.
He extended the YAF's congratulations on Iran's Operation True Promise 2 against the Israeli occupation entity and affirmed their readiness to participate in any joint military operations in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, as well as in response to any Israeli aggression targeting support fronts.
The spokesperson warned that the continued American and British support for "Israel" places US and British interests in the region under fire.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik: Martyr Sayyed Nasrallah; man of both word and action
Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is “a martyr of Palestine, al-Quds, al-Aqsa, Islam, and humanity,” said the leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, describing his assassination as “a huge crime” and loss for the entire Islamic Ummah.
In a speech on Thursday, in which he addressed the developments of the Israeli aggression on Gaza and Lebanon, as well as regional and international updates, Sayyed al-Houthi highlighted that the martyr Sayyed Nasrallah possessed “Islamic symbolism, had a global, regional, and local impact,” and played a major role, particularly in confronting the Israeli threat and inflicting defeats on the occupation.
The martyr had been actively present in the field of jihad with a distinctive stance and exceptional performance for more than 40 years, leading Hezbollah for nearly 30 years with great success and remarkable achievements, he added.
The Yemeni leader emphasized that Sayyed Nasrallah had “high qualifications and remarkable leadership acumen,” achieving major victories and being an exemplary figure both in leadership and faith, embodying values, ethics, and wisdom.

Massive Israeli air raid on residential area in Beirut's Suburb
Beirut’s southern suburb has been subjected to continuous and violent bombardment, with relentless airstrikes pounding residential areas. Locals describe the scenes as harrowing, with explosions shaking the neighborhood and reducing buildings to rubble. The air raids, which have been ongoing for several hours, are mostly coming without warning, endangering the lives of vulnerable civilians.
The reported attacks come just mere minutes after "Israel’s" military spokesman issued a call for residents of Beirut’s southern Burj al-Barajneh area and several nearby buildings to evacuate.
The targeted site is in close proximity to the Beirut International Airport, which can be seen in the background of circulating footage of the strikes.
It is worth noting that the targeted area is a heavily populated residential area in Lebanon.
This attack is reportedly bigger than the one that killed Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah, and Zionist enemy media are reporting that the target is Hizballah leader Hashem Safieddine. None of this limitless US-sponsored evil with save the Zionist regime. It must and will go.
Evacuate or else: 'Israel's' 'thoughtful' tactics in Lebanon and Gaza
For over a week, the people of Lebanon have been living in constant fear, glued to their phones each night, awaiting the latest evacuation orders from the Israeli occupation forces’ Arabic spokesperson, Avichay Adraee. Not because they’re avid followers of his statements, but because these announcements determine if their homes will be bombed that night. This indiscriminate ritual has turned into a nightly horror, where civilians anxiously scroll through social media, hoping that their house isn’t the next target.
The Israeli military has issued countless evacuation orders across Lebanon, sometimes up to six in a mere two hours. At times, these warnings specify exact locations, but increasingly, they include vague maps covering entire neighborhoods—essentially marking entire civilian areas for indiscriminate bombardment. "Israel" often claims that Hezbollah operates in these zones, but the victims of these strikes are predominantly civilians with no safe place to go, or those who have chosen not to abandon their homes.
Two Lebanese soldiers martyred in IOF attacks, army responds with fire
The Lebanese Army announced the martyrdom of one of its soldiers following an Israeli strike on a military post in the city of Bint Jbeil, southern Lebanon.
In a statement on Thursday, the Lebanese Army clarified that the soldiers stationed at the post responded to the source of the Israeli fire.
Earlier today, the Lebanese Army reported the martyrdom of one of its soldiers and the injury of another due to an Israeli attack. The incident took place during an evacuation and rescue mission, carried out in coordination with the Lebanese Red Cross, in the town of al-Taybeh, Marjayoun, in South Lebanon.
'Israel' kills at least 28 on-duty medics in 24 hours in Lebanon: WHO
At least 28 on-duty medics have been killed by "Israel" in Lebanon in the past 24 hours, the World Health Organization's Director-General, Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said on Thursday.
Ghebreyesus said during an online news briefing that many health workers "are not reporting for duty and have fled the areas where they work due to bombardments," demanding improved safeguards for health workers.
"This is severely limiting the provision of mass trauma management and continuity of health services," according to Ghebreyesus.
Using the Gaza Playbook in Lebanon – How Words Can Justify a Genocide
Perpetuating Israeli lies is dangerous, not only because truth-telling is a virtue but also because words kill, and dishonest reporting can, in fact, succeed in justifying genocide.
The official Israeli army version of why it has targeted civilian areas during the intense and deadly bombardment of September 20 in south Lebanon is that the Lebanese are hiding long-range missile launchers in their own homes.
This official explanation by the Israeli military was meant to justify the killing of 492 people and the wounding of 1,645 in a single day of Israeli strikes.
Hezbollah Turns Lebanon Border into Graveyard for Israelis, Fiercely Repels Infiltration Attempts
Hezbollah fighters have fiercely repelled all Israeli attempts to cross in Lebanon’s territory on Thursday, with Islamic Resistance heroes turning the border area with occupied Palestine into a graveyard for the Zionists.
An Islamic Resistance battlefield source told Al-Manar that so far, all Israeli attempts to infiltrate into the Lebanese territory have failed, and that Hezbollah fighters have inflicted heavy losses upon the Zionist troops.
“Hezbollah fighters have repelled all Israeli attempts to advance in several axes in southern Lebanon,” the source told Al-Manar, noting that the resistance fighters have employed different kinds of weapons.
“Resistance’s pre-prepared ambushes are inflicting heavy losses on Israeli soldiers,” according to the source.

How did Hezbollah ensnare dozens of Israeli soldiers at the border?
The fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah carried out a meticulously planned ambush on an elite Israeli force in the Odeisseh region of South Lebanon, causing significant casualties among the Israeli soldiers, field sources in the Resistance told Al Mayadeen on Wednesday morning.
According to the sources, Islamic Resistance fighters had been monitoring Israeli recon troops in the early hours of Tuesday as they moved through a non-open area across Odeisseh. Despite detecting the enemy force, the Resistance fighters refrained from engaging them, allowing the Israeli reconnaissance mission to proceed and return unharmed, allowing them to carry out a more decisive strike later.
Based on the movements and behavior of the Israeli forces, the Resistance fighters prepared an advanced ambush in the al-Mahafer/Odeisseh region, the sources said. They picked a strategic location within a house in the area as their location of choice.
At dawn Wednesday, more than 30 Israeli soldiers and officers began a silent advance into the ambush zone. The Israeli force, unaware of the trap, moved closer to the Resistance’s position, the sources said. Once they were in the ambush zone, which was near the Lebanese-Israeli border, the Resistance fighters sprang into action, initiating the ambush with the phrase, "At your service, Nasrallah."
The ambush started with heavy gunfire and RPGs, with Resistance fighters engaging the Israeli soldiers at point-blank range. The intensity of the attack led to a number of casualties among the Israeli elite troops, whose cries and screams echoed throughout the area, according to the sources.

In a statement, the Islamic Resistance affirmed that its fighters will continue to use this technology "to strike enemy strongholds with increasing intensity."

Iran’s Tolerance Fades Following Assassination of Sayyed Nasrallah and Nilforoushan, Says Senior General
Iran’s top military commander stated that Iran had shown restraint following aggressive actions from ‘Israel’ in July but could no longer remain patient after the assassination of Hezbollah Leader Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah and a prominent Iranian general. Major General Mohammad Baqeri made this announcement on Wednesday after Operation True Promise II.
The regime assassinated Ismail Haniyeh, former chief of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, during a targeted killing in the Iranian capital Tehran on July 31.
“After Martyr Haniyeh’s assassination, Iran went through a tough period of self-restraint amid repeated requests by the Americans and Europeans, who would ask us to exercise self-restraint so they would establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip (where the Israeli regime has been waging a genocidal war),” Bagheri said.
“However, after Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s and [Brigadier] General [Abbas] Nilforoushan’s martyrdom, the situation was no longer tolerable,” he added.

Poverty in Argentina exceeds 50% amid Milei's austerity measures
Argentina’s poverty rate has surged to nearly 53% in the first six months of President Javier Milei’s term, marking the highest level in two decades. The government reported 3.4 million people have fallen into poverty this year, reflecting the impact of Milei's far-right austerity measures.
Since assuming office in December, Milei has drastically reduced public spending to control chronic inflation and eliminate the budget deficit.
His government has frozen pensions, scaled back aid to soup kitchens, reduced welfare programs, and suspended all public works projects. Tens of thousands of public sector workers have been dismissed, while cuts to energy and transportation subsidies have led to rising costs and diminished purchasing power.
Kirsten Sehnbruch, a Latin America expert at the London School of Economics and Political Science, expressed shock at the unprecedented surge in poverty rates. "I've never seen such a dramatic increase," she said. "This new economic program is failing to protect the poor. The rise is absolutely devastating."

Blood and tears for France, but Barnier is already going haywire…
France does not seem to have overcome its most critical situation in decades. The "president-king", the former banker Emmanuel Macron, has gone so far as to ignore the results of the polls, giving life to an absolute minority government that will have to seek votes in Parliament from time to time.
To navigate such stormy waters, he had chosen as his “helmsman” the former European Commissioner Michel Barnier, who had led the Brussels delegation in the Brexit negotiations with London.
….
The elderly former Commissioner Barnier is a liberal who draws his recipes from the very poor arsenal of "budgetary austerity" and so, already in his first speech to the National Assembly, he laid out a blood-and-tears plan, although completely devoid of details: to cut spending by around 40 billion euros and raise taxes to obtain another 20 billion euros next year.
October 5th. Let's oppose the ban on demonstrations but let's relaunch the mobilization on Palestine and Lebanon
On the demonstration for Palestine on October 5, the Police Headquarters – under explicit pressure from the government – dropped a decidedly unacceptable ban on demonstrations. Against this ban, some lawyers – on behalf of the promoters – filed an appeal with the TAR to ask for its revocation.
The ban does not hold for many reasons. First of all, the demonstration was banned not because of its platform but because of comments and documents that appeared on social media calling for a demonstration on October 5th.
Secondly, in our country, it cannot be up to the various Jewish community organizations or right-wing newspapers to decide who can or cannot demonstrate or what can or cannot be said at a demonstration.
War in the Middle East. Oil prices are already rising
Oil prices soared in New York after Biden's inappropriate statements that the US-Israeli alliance with Iran is gearing up to hit Tehran's oil installations.
Within two days, from September 30 to October 2, Brent crude oil prices had already risen by about 5% from around $72 a barrel to just over $75 a barrel.
“Don't worry…”, said the frog as it boiled
The omelette is done. Now all the protagonists, supported by their allies, mull over their next moves and launch bellicose threats so that "the others" will stop. It is a dance between subjects who need to show themselves to be very strong, but who know well what they are risking. Yet the logic of war has always pushed us to go a step beyond what we would like and could do...
We have been walking on the edge of the abyss for at least three years, but the opinion makers of the establishment – all or almost all, without great distinctions – told us every day not to worry. “The enemy” is there, he is very bad and cruel, but deep down “we” (the collective West) are too strong and we scare him. Ergo, his ferocious face is just a bluff to go and see, like in poker. There is no real danger if we “act now”, because if we wait too long that enemy can become much stronger.
It does not take great perspicacity to recognize in this thread of "reasoning" the narrative of a buffoon like Zelenskij or a genocidal person like Netanyahu. The pattern is identical, the "prompter" too: the imperialism of the United States.

Controversial new French PM delays New Caledonia election for a year
France’s new prime minister, Michel Barnier, announced that the provincial election in New Caledonia, originally scheduled for December, will be postponed for a year.
In his first address to parliament, Barnier also revealed that a controversial bill proposed by President Emmanuel Macron to amend the constitution and alter the voting registry in New Caledonia would not be sent for ratification. The proposed changes have sparked fears among the Indigenous Kanak population, who worry that it could favor recent arrivals to the territory.
The election, initially set for December 15, will now take place at the end of 2025.
New Caledonia, with a population of about 270,000, was rocked by unrest in mid-May, sparked by French plans to impose new rules that would give tens of thousands of non-indigenous residents voting rights. The approval of the voter list bill by both houses of the French parliament in May triggered mass protests by pro-independence groups, some of which turned violent. In response, President Macron declared a state of emergency and sent thousands of police and military reinforcements to the territory, which is located nearly 17,000 kilometers from Paris.
