Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem speech 29 November 2024
We are facing a great victory over the enemy
Sheikh Qassem addresses the Resistance supporters: You showed steadfastness in displacement, and your children did their best in face of the enemy
Sheikh Qassem: When we launched Gaza support battle, we announced clearly that we did not want an all-out war
The Zionist enemy waged the war 64 days ago in order to eradicate Hezbollah, return the displaced settlers to the North, and establish the “New Middle East”
‘Israel’ expected to achieve the war goals in a short duration, but Hezbollah steadfastly confronted it as it targeted our ‘home’ front
The Resistance has proven its readiness, with the plans set by Martyr Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah being effective and accounting for all developments
“The Formidable in Might” battle ended with a great victory because the enemy failed to achieve its goals
Coordination between the Resistance and the Lebanese Army will be of the highest level to ensure the implementation of this agreement
The central focus of the agreement today is south of the Litani River, as it affirms the withdrawal of the “Israeli army” from all areas it has occupied
Hezbollah will reinforce its defense capabilities in order to prevent the Israeli enemy from weakening Lebanon
Sheikh Qassem: We are facing a great victory over the enemy.. and the resistance will be ready to defend Lebanon
Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed, “We are facing a great victory for the resistance over the Israeli enemy, a victory greater than the July victory with all the sacrifices made and all the Western support for the enemy.” He added, “We won because we prevented the enemy from eliminating Hezbollah and the resistance.” He stressed “working to protect national unity and sovereignty and to enhance Lebanon’s defensive capabilities.” He pointed out that “the resistance will be ready to defend Lebanon and all the forces, with the Lebanese army at the forefront.” He pointed out that “the resistance’s support for Palestine will not stop, in different forms.”
Sheikh Qassem said, “Since the resistance began supporting Gaza, it said it was ready for war if the Israeli enemy imposed it.” He continued, “About 64 days ago, the Israeli ground aggression began, and this aggression took a broad form on Lebanon, and the enemy set a ceiling for it, leading to the drawing of the new Middle East. They started with us in a security manner, through blowing up the Pager and assassinations, leading to the assassination of Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may God sanctify his secret).” He added, “This matter made us live in a state of confusion for ten days, and the enemy expected that it was able to accomplish what it wanted within a short period, but the party regained its strength, initiative, and resistance, so it formed the command and control system again and stood steadfast on the front through the resistance fighters, and began to strike the Israeli home front.”
In a televised speech on Friday evening on the occasion of the great victory over the Israeli enemy, Sheikh Qassem pointed out that “Israel’s losses are very large and there has been an additional displacement of settlers, as there are now hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, and many of the enemy’s officers and soldiers have been killed and wounded, and its vehicles have been struck and destroyed.” He pointed out that “the enemy has reached a dead end with the resistance, and the resistance has proven that it is decisive and that the plans set by the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah are effective plans that take into account the various circumstances and options.” He continued, “The enemy’s pressure on our people did not succeed with the most honorable people, and it bet on internal strife, so its bet failed because of the cooperation between the sects, regions, and different forces.” He believed that “this made the Israelis miss another angle of victory,” and he stressed that “the legendary steadfastness and martyrdom of the resistance fighters terrified the enemy and brought despair into their souls, and the field besieged the enemy so that it would go to stop the aggression without achieving its goals.”
“I wanted to give my speech on the first day of victory, but I saw people returning to their villages from the first moment, expressing their feelings and raising victory signs, so I waited to take their positions and express them so that the speech would not be mobilizing,” Sheikh Qassem said. He continued, “I heard people talking about victory and pride, and how they spoke with confidence that they had sacrificed and that all of that was in sacrifice for the soul of Sayyed Nasrallah, and that they had won God’s pleasure and pride, and that whoever died had gone to his Lord as a martyr, and that people wanted to live a dignified life.”
We are facing a great victory.. and this victory is for everyone who wished for it
Sheikh Qassem stressed that “as a result of the battle of Uli al-Bas, we are facing a great victory for the resistance, greater than the victory of July, with all the sacrifices that were made and all the Western support for the enemy. However, the resistance fighters stood firm.” He added, “We won because we prevented the enemy from ending Hezbollah and the resistance, and we made the enemy suffer because Netanyahu went to justify to the Israelis why he was forced to submit and stop the aggression, and he said that he wanted to rebuild his army and rearm it.” He stressed, “It is a victory for the resistance because it continued and will continue to continue, and the sacrifices were great, but it was in the face of an unprecedented aggression.”
Sheikh Qassem said, “Whose victory is this? It belongs to everyone who contributed to its creation with bullets, wounds, prayers, words, and support. It belongs to everyone who wished it, to every honorable and free person who supported the resistance and condemned the aggression.” He continued, “Our enemies are defeated, for they say that the Israeli government is raising the white flag while Hezbollah’s flags are raised in Lebanon, and the majority of Israelis have admitted that they have not won.” He added, “Look at the scene of the return of the displaced among us and the scene of the non-return of the settlers among them. Defeat surrounds every side of this Israeli enemy.”
Regarding the ceasefire agreement, Sheikh Qassem said, “The ceasefire agreement is not a treaty or a new agreement, but rather a program of executive measures to implement Resolution 1701.” He continued, “The central axis of the agreement is south of the Litani River, and it confirms the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the areas it occupied, and the deployment of the Lebanese army south of the Litani River.” He added, “Thank God, the coordination between the resistance and the army will be high-level coordination to implement the agreement, and no one is betting on disagreement. The army will deploy in its homeland, and they are our sons, and they will carry out the mission of maintaining security in Lebanon and on the borders.” He stressed, “We agreed to this agreement under the umbrella of Lebanese sovereignty, and the resistance is strong, and we have the right to defend ourselves.”
Thanks to the martyrs and everyone who resisted and persevered.
On the other hand, Sheikh Qassem said, “Thanks be to God who supported and strengthened us, and we always felt that God was with us and strengthened us in the field.” He continued, “The resistance fighters talk about actions that they do not know how they were done and occurred. Thanks be to God because He granted us victory.” He added, “Thanks and pride to the men of God in the field who humiliated the enemy and faced him in a legendary confrontation with sincerity.” He addressed the resistance fighters by saying, “You are the pride and strength of courage, O purity of the earth and light of the sky. I bow before your sacrifices, O builders of the promising future of our generations.” He stressed that “thanks be to our great martyrs and all our martyrs are great because they rose above this world, all the martyrs in the villages and cities, men and women of the resistance and the general public, and at the head of these is the master of the nation’s martyrs, Sayyed Nasrallah (may God sanctify his secret). I thank you, my master and my lord, because you were the spark of victory and you paved the way for victory, and with you was the martyr Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din and before you the martyr Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi and the martyr Ragheb Harb and the martyr leaders Sheikh Nabil Qawuq and Sayyed Mohsen Shukr and Hajj Ibrahim.” Aqeel, Hajj Imad Mughniyeh, Mr. Mustafa Badr al-Din, Hajj Hassan al-Laqqis, and every mujahid with them.”
Sheikh Qassem paid tribute to the martyrs of the Lebanese army and the martyrs of the health and ambulance services, and to the wounded, asking for their speedy recovery. He said, “The prisoners will be released soon,” and continued, “Thanks to the purest, most honorable, and most generous of people. We congratulate you on thwarting your enemy’s aggression, and all thanks to the steadfast, the displaced, and those whose homes and villages were destroyed. We are proud of you, our people in the south, the Bekaa, the suburbs, the north, and Beirut. We are proud of our countrymen from all sects and regions who supported the resistance and strengthened Lebanon.”
Sheikh Qassem said, “A big thank you to the great negotiator, President Nabih, to President Najib Mikati, to the security, media, health, ambulance and civil defense agencies.” He added, “We especially thank the Amal Movement, its leadership, members and people, and we say that Hezbollah and the Amal Movement are one body in two organizations. Aren’t we all the sons of Sayyed Musa al-Sadr?”
Sheikh Qassim continued, “Thanks to Iran, its leadership, people, and guards, and to Imam Khamenei, who supports and endorses the approach of Imam Khomeini, and thanks to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, especially to Martyr Qassem Soleimani, and to the President of the Islamic Republic and all its apparatuses.” He added, “We thank the noble Yemen, its people, and leadership, especially Mr. Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, who supports the issues of the nation.” He stressed, “Thanks to the noble Iraq, the Iraq of chivalry, for its two references, its crowds, and its people, for it is a symbol of giving, and here we remember the martyr Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.” Sheikh Qassim also thanked “Syria, which embraced the resistance and its people.”
Sheikh Qassem stressed that “the resistance’s support for Palestine will not stop in different ways,” adding, “We consider Palestine and Jerusalem to be the cause of the free, and our support will continue in different ways.”
Regarding the internal Lebanese file, Sheikh Qassem said, “We will follow up with our people the process of reconstruction and building, especially decent housing at this stage. It is a major process for which we have the appropriate mechanisms. We will cooperate with the state and all countries and organizations that wish to help Lebanon to restore Lebanon to its most beautiful state, in implementation of Sayyed Nasrallah’s promise.” He continued, “We will also complete the constitutional institutions, most notably the election of the President of the Republic, and that it be held on the specified date of January 9.” He added, “We will also be present in all areas to build the nation, the state, and the institutions.”
Sheikh Qassem stressed, “Our national work will be in cooperation with the political forces that believe that the homeland belongs to all its sons. We regret that the bets of some who wished to end the party have failed, and we confirm that we will hold dialogue with all forces that want to build Lebanon according to the Taif Agreement.” He stressed, “Working to protect national unity and sovereignty and strengthening Lebanon’s defensive capabilities. The resistance will be ready to defend Lebanon and all forces, with the Lebanese army at the forefront.”
but already israel has said there is no “ceasefire”
Israeli Enemy Violates Ceasefire, Opens Fire at Civilians in South Lebanon
Since the ceasefire took into effect early Wednesday, the Israeli enemy has been repeatedly violating its stipulations, opening fire at civilians and destroying properties.
The Zionist violations have been accompanied by arrogant media publications which try to impose a new reality that contradicts with the Israeli military failure in face of Hezbollah fighters during the war.
The Lebanese government that signed the agreement is requested today to put an end to these violations before the enemy goes too far, which entails the Lebanese people to move again in face of the Zionist aggression.
In this regard, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a funeral in Khiam, pushing its tanks to the western side of the town.
The Israeli enemy also cut off olive trees and bulldozed roads in Kfar Kila in the context of imposing a new reality on the border region.
In the same context, the spokesman of the Zionist army also issued warnings to the locals of a large number of towns in South Lebanon to avoid returning home.

hmmm call for a fake ceasefire, reactivate your terrorists in Syria, Hezbollah goes to assist Syrian Army and Israel says fk the ceasefire 💡
Latest news tells us that under the cover of this false ceasefire israelis are still shelling Lebanon and its tanks are rolling into villages which they could not reach during the war.
What seems obvious is that the next 60 days of alleged ceasefire, are most likely a tactical operation designed to give the Israelis time to take the territories they wanted, plan traps, video surveillance equipment, and harvesting data to detect hezbolla members, weapons stashes and positions before unleashing the next round of terror on it.
We need some serious Grace to come through... (and I'm not Christian, but it's a good word)
