International Women's Day a Stain on Humanity
International Women's Day (IWD) commemorates women's fight for equality and liberation along with the women's rights movement. International Women's Day gives focus to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.
‘Stain on Humanity’: Palestinian Women Endure Unprecedented Israeli Violence
On International Women’s Day, the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas condemned the ongoing Israeli war in Gaza and its devastating impact on Palestinian women.
Hamas described the killing of more than 12,000 Palestinian women, with many more wounded, arrested, or displaced, as a “stain on the brow of humanity.”
Hamas was not the only Palestinian group that used International Women’s Day to sound the alarm over the mistreatment of Palestinian women and the international silence regarding their collective plight. In addition to children, Palestinian women are the principal victims of Israeli crimes.
Other nationalist, socialist, and Islamic movements made similar appeals.
Collectively, they called on the international community to expose Israeli crimes against Palestinian women, including systematic violence such as bombing, daily massacres, displacement, deportation, arrest, and torture in prisons.
Palestinian groups also stressed that International Women’s Day should be an opportunity to shed light on these crimes and urged those who advocate for women’s rights to fulfill their political, humanitarian, and moral responsibilities to stop these brutal violations.
We don't shake hands with women. We kill them.
Women and girls are being celebrated by the world on International Women’s day, but the strength and resistance against occupation by the women of Lebanon and Palestine are truly what need to be highlighted on a day like this. Rachel Hamdoun reports from New York.
From Afghanistan to Syria: Women’s Rights, War Propaganda and the CIA
Here is a list* of the countries bombed and/or invaded by the United States from the end of the Second World War to 2020
This list makes it seem clear that the United States has been as bellicose as any other country in the history of the world. At least, it seems clear to non-Americans. Less clear are the reasons behind the bellicosity, the reasons that so few Americans realize how bellicose they are, and the reasons that so many Americans believe their country to be peaceable and benign.
The USA Presidents and their WARS
June 21, 2020
Since 1942, every American president has used military force without a declaration of war.
A declaration of war is a formal declaration issued by a national government indicating that a state of war exists between that nation and another. The document Declarations of War and Authorizations for the Use of Military Force: Historical Background and Legal Implications gives an extensive listing and summary of statutes which are automatically engaged upon the US declaring war.
For the United States, Article One, Section Eight of the Constitution says “Congress shall have power to … declare War.” However, that passage provides no specific format for what form legislation must have in order to be considered a “declaration of war” nor does the Constitution itself use this term. In the courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, in Doe v. Bush, said: “[T]he text of the October Resolution itself spells out justifications for a war and frames itself as an ‘authorization’ of such a war.” in effect saying an authorization suffices for declaration and what some may view as a formal Congressional “Declaration of War” was not required by the Constitution.
The last time the United States formally declared war, using specific terminology, on any nation was in 1942, when war was declared against Axis-allied Hungary, Bulgaria, and Romania, because President Franklin Roosevelt thought it was improper to engage in hostilities against a country without a formal declaration of war.
Since then, every American president has used military force without a declaration of war.

Permanent war since the earliest days of settlement in America
“Some tend to think that [the recent] period of forever war is exceptional,” Vine writes at the outset. “To the contrary, this state of war is the norm in U.S history. According to the government’s own Congressional Research Service and other sources, the U.S. military has waged war, engaged in combat, or otherwise employed its forces aggressively in foreign lands in all but eleven years of its existence.” Only eleven years at peace out of two hundred forty-seven since the Declaration of Independence. “The total list of U.S. wars and other combat actions extends into the hundreds. A small fraction appears in most U.S. history textbooks.” And Vine, a social anthropologist who teaches at American University in Washington, DC, proves his case with specific, documented examples from our country’s history.

Captive Zionist soldier Matan Angrest: "The only way to bring us back is through the exchange deal and moving to the second stage."
Al-Aqsa Flood.
Notes:
0:00 - "Hello, my name is Matan Angrest. I was captured on October 7th from 'Nahal Oz.' It's been 511 days in captivity of Hamas. There was hope in the news of the deal and release of the captives. We feel that the army, state, and government abandoned us for this whole. We're starting to lose hope. We can't see the end; we can't see how this whole story ends. I want to tell the army: you will not succeed in bringing us back by military force. The only way to bring us home is through a an exchange deal and moving to the second phase. I have heard about the stages of the deal, and it really does not matter to us captives. We just want to go home. Whether it’s a second phase, a third phase, or a first phase—you finish this story, they will release all the captives. And come on, everyone go your own way. I beg you, please—bring us back alive, not in a coffin. It’s not easy here; there is no sun. The winter cold is taking its toll on us. The food and treatment here are like that for a soldier, not like that for a civilian captive. I ask you, those captives who have returned home, do not leave us here to rot in captivity—fight for us. You know what we have been through here, and what we are still enduring. "
1:47 - "I want, on this occasion, to address Trump and say to you: I beg you, bring back all the captives. You are the only one who has the power to influence Netanyahu and the government and truly push for this deal. Make every effort to bring us home as quickly as possible. I want to address the Chief of Staff, the army commanders—your commitment is to bring us home safe and whole, just as we fought for the country on October 7 and stood guard. The country must bring us back and do everything possible so that we return. My mother, Anat; my father, Hagai; my sister, Adi; my brother, Ofir; my brother, Roy—I am just waiting for the moment I can hug you and see you. I am sure you are fighting for me and doing everything so that I can come home. And I have a message for all the people of 'israel': I ask everyone to take over the roads, to come out into the streets, and not give up on us."
Note: Hamas released this video a few days after Angrest's parents approved footage of him held in captivity. He was taken as a prisoner from a tank in "Nahal Oz" on October 7th.

No, israel Does Not Have the Right to Self-Defense In International Law Against Occupied Palestinian Territory
By : Noura Erakat A state cannot simultaneously exercise control over territory it occupies and militarily attack that territory on the claim that it is “foreign” and poses an exogenous national security threat. Thank you, sis. It really doesn't get any prettier does it!?
I've been a bit distant lately, I know. See my poem, Maybe I'm not broken, for an explanation as to why. But big changes are afoot in my personal life and before too much longer I'll be in a better situation... Home free, you could say. From there who knows what awaits. Time will tell.
But your work, and the efforts you put into compiling these roundups is deeply appreciated. I just want you to know that.
With love. 💚🙏🇵🇸🪷
