International News Roundup 17 June 2024
International Systems are all Corrupt
No one is going to help us. We are on our own …
Many years ago some close contacts and I created an international community on G+ (G+ is now defunct because the collective West did not care for the information being widely shared by dissidents globally. I was threatened with being banned from the platform before they even shut it down for posting factual information on Yemen.) The community was called “International People’s Coalition for Humanity”
It’s purpose was to actually serve the global community as all the systems in place now are corrupted and useless. They only serve the powerful. We did not accomplish much progress in replacing the current system before the community was shut down and contacts lost. (I lost many contacts who were killed in US conflicts such as Syria, RIP 🌹, fighting Western backed terrorists).
This was the mission statement:
International Coalition of Common People working together for solution to current world crisis. Working towards the arrest and trial of today’s war criminals and criminals against humanity. Working to gain our freedom from criminal overlords passing illegal laws. Working to reform dysfunctional United Nations. Working to put the power back in the hands of the people globally. Working to name and collect evidence on all modern day criminals against humanity, to allow for their prosecution. Working to create an international court that serves all people and eliminate all dysfunctional systems that benefit only the few. *Please feel free to post in all languages*
As we all watch our voice being ignored, the rise of the far right, Palestinians being exterminated for a land grab and resources, small businesses destroyed, the gentrification of the collective West, etc., we have to do something besides just voice our dissent individually. I do not know what to do but hopefully as a combined force we can brainstorm some worthwhile ideas.
The UN, ICJ, ICC, human rights organizations, etc are useless and serve the powerful. Anything they say is just lip service to give the perception that they are doing something to stop the Palestinian Genocide and various other crimes against humanity by the collective West.
Lip Service: support for someone or something that is expressed by someone in words but that is not shown in that person's actions. 💡
Some examples of the egregious actions of the UN, international justice and humanitarian systems.
Freedom Rider: The ICC is Criminal
The New World Order under U.S. dominion turns international law on its head and puts criminal-bought flunkies on the judicial bench. America, which is not even a signatory to the treaty that created the International Criminal Court, calls all the shots like a Mafia don. Africans and a few Serbs are the only ones that get arrested, while great crimes against peace masquerade as humanitarian intervention.
The ICC: Imperialism Court
The International Criminal Court has turned into its opposite: an injudicious, selective enforcer of imperial policy, rather than a global standard of criminal law. The cast of defendants have all been African and outcasts from the U.S. imperial orbit, from the ICC’s inception. “The ICC has been used as an instrument of war; not an instrument of peace, but war by other means. It’s time to 'scrap it.'”
”The Hunt: “Me and Military Criminals” A book on man-hunt by the Tribunal’ s prosecutor general
The presentation of memories of Carla del Ponte slated for April 3, 2008 just days after she had left her post of the Hague Prosecutor General for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda. The book published under the title”The Hunt: “Me and Military Criminals” covers quite a long period of del Ponte’s stint as the prosecutor from August 1999 to December 2007. A large part of the book is given to exactly “the hunt” or the search and organisation of legal prosecution of the guilty people, negotiations with the leadership of a number of countries and international organisation with an eye to extradition of the persons the Tribunal regards as military criminals, and the obstacles put up by officials of different levels to prevent her from completing her hard work. But the book became a sensation long before its going out of print, when journalists laid their eyes on it.
Its readers all over the world and people with thinking were shaken by the facts Carla del Ponte gave in her book that had always been concealed from public, about the atrocities of Albanians committed against peaceful Serbs and Albanians unwilling to become part of hostilities in Kosovo and Metohia, and the trade in body organs extirpated from kidnapped Serbs. The leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) were the culprits, its militants and currently the respected politicians Hasim Taci, Agim Ceku and Ramus Haradinai.

Hague Press Conference on Douma Chemical Attack: No attack, no victims, no chem weapons: Douma witnesses speak at OPCW briefing at The Hague (VIDEO and REPORTS)
Witnesses of the alleged chemical attack in Douma, including 11-year-old Hassan Diab and hospital staff, told reporters at The Hague that the White Helmets video used as a pretext for a US-led strike on Syria was, in fact, staged.
New leak reveals OPCW’s intimidation practices against inspectors who refuted its narrative about Douma
The Hague, SANA – A new leak by an official at the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has shown that the organization’s leadership has waged “a malicious and factually flawed attack” against two veteran inspectors who had proved that the official statements by the OPCW about the alleged chemical attack in Douma in 2018 are incorrect, and that the accusation of the Syrian Arab Army of being responsible for that incident came to justify the French, British, and American aggression against Syria.
In the new leak, which was published by “The Grayzone,” an independent news website, an OPCW official said he was “horrified” by the “abhorrent mistreatment” of the inspectors by the organization, which he said is employing a “climate of intimidation designed to keep other staffers frightened into silence.”

Legal, Ethical Responsibility of the UN While Failed in Stopping Gaza Genocide
The United Nations is not like the Red Cross or the Red Crescent; its role is not limited to some humanitarian aspects that are sometimes distorted. This organization is governed by binding international legal rules that it cannot violate, and it is obligated to suppress states that breach these rules. It possesses the necessary means to do so according to its Charter.
It is our duty—both as human rights activists and media professionals—in confronting the crimes of the colonial Zionist-Western powers in all their forms and manifestations, to document the falsehoods, misinformation, and deviations from the original, proper human values and principles. These values have often been championed by many countries and international organizations, foremost among them the United Nations, which adorned its Charter with various terms and phrases affirming these values.
The UN, established on the ruins of the collapsed League of Nations due to its failure to prevent the great tragedies that befell humanity in the first half of the last century, enshrined these values in its Charter to keep the painful past ever-present and prevent its recurrence. The provisions of this Charter represent the legal basis for the responsibility placed on the United Nations in case of its failure or breach in fulfilling its international duties and obligations as stipulated in its Charter.
……
This behavior of the Western colonial powers has persisted since the UN's establishment in 1945 to this day. The theoretical principles and humanitarian values have had no real impact, and the UN has not taken a significant stance in implementing the legal provisions of its Charter to prevent the tragedies of war.
UN Officially “Asks” Israel to Leave The Golan Heights
New York, SANA – Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari said Golan was and would always remain a Syrian territory despite the current circumstances taking place in the country and we will continue our struggle for the full restoration of it until the line of June 4th, 1967.
Addressing participants at the UN Security Council session on the situation in the Middle East held on Thursday, al-Jaafari called upon the UN to assume its responsibilities and break the silence towards the “bitter reality” imposed on Golan people due to the Israeli occupation which controlled the territory since 1967.
He said that the UN should be serious and show interest in dealing with the occupied Syrian Golan according to the UNSC resolutions in this regard, particularly resolution No. 497 for 1981.
“The UN inability to force Israel to comply with its resolutions is unacceptable, especially those related to halting systematic and outrageous violations of human rights and putting an end to its policies of settlement, discrimination, suppression and arbitrary arrests against Syrian citizens, in addition to tightening grip on them, not to mention its plans to theft Golan natural resources, including water, gas and oil, “al-Jaafari added.
He noted that the recent decision issued by the Supreme Court of Israel lifting the ban on drilling for oil, permitting Israeli companies to start drilling works is a clear violation of international law.
USAID
A Primer: USAID & US Hegemony
July 8, 2016 (Tony Cartalucci - NEO) - A nation is its institutions. If those institutions are overrun and no longer exist, so too does the nation itself cease to exist. Institutions range from the offices of government, to education, to agricultural and economic development, to the management of natural resources, national infrastructure including energy and transportation, and security. These are the things we think about when we think about the concept of a modern nation-state.
Contrary to popular belief, the invasion and occupation of any particular nation is not a mere exercise of military might. It also, by necessity, involves the destruction or overrunning and eventual replacement of all the above mentioned institutions.
The most extreme modern-day example of this was the US invasion of Iraq, where Iraqi institutions from top to bottom were either entirely destroyed and replaced, or taken over by the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA). The CPA was literally headed by an American, Paul Bremer, who, far from being a military man, was instead drawn from the US State Department and a background of chairing corporate-financier boards of directors.
The CPA assumed responsibility for all aspects of life in Iraq, from the privatization of Iraq's economy, to "reconstruction," to reorganizing the nation socially, politically, and economically.
Human Rights Organizations
“Human Rights” Warriors for Empire
“Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have chosen sides in the Washington-backed belligerency – the side of Empire.” Syria has no choice but to secure every square foot of its territory. “Faced with the certainty of superpower-backed attack under the guise of ‘protecting’ civilians in “liberated” territory, Syria cannot afford to cede even one neighborhood of a single city – not one block! – or of any rural or border enclave, to armed rebels and foreign terrorists.”
UNICEF
Catherine Mary Russell (born March 4, 1961) is an American attorney and political adviser who is the current Executive Director of UNICEF. Russell previously served as Director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office, United States Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women's Issues, and Chief of Staff to then-Second Lady of the United States Jill Biden.
Personal life. Since 1991, Russell has been married to Thomas E. Donilon, who was the National Security Advisor under President Obama, and is currently Chairman of BlackRock Investment. Her brother-in-law is Mike Donilon, a lawyer and political consultant who serves as Chief Advisor to President Joe Biden. 🔗
I could go one like this forever giving examples, hopefully you get the picture and some kind of international coalition can be created that actually manages to fight these monsters. It should start on local levels and interconnect internationally as there is power in numbers. People have to create something to fight back against this oppression and quick because we are all Palestinians now. Be aware there will be subversives and interlopers to try and hijack any efforts made towards international solidarity for people’s rights.

IOF blows up residential buildings in Rafah, commits new massacres
On the 256th day of aggression against the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation committed new massacres in the central region and escalated bombings in Rafah, southern Gaza. Occupation military vehicles also made attempts to invade the area.
Eid al-Adha in Gaza is marked by continued Israeli genocide. These are some of the diaries written by Palestinians on this occasion.
Nine people were killed and several injured in an Israeli airstrike this evening targeting security personnel securing the arrival of aid trucks at the Al-Mashroa intersection, east of Rafah.

When Sacrifice is Children then Hajj is Gaza
Whenever people get promoted to parents, they become determined to sacrifice whatever they possess for the wellbeing of their children. There is no way things can go differently unless the situation is measured by human dignity.
Over eight months of war, and two Eids so far, have brought to 37337 the number of Palestinians martyred, and to 85299 the number of those injured.
The latest count released by Gaza Government Media Office found that 15,694 Palestinian children have been martyred since October 7.
On the first day of Eid Al-Adha, pilgrims and Muslims in general offer an animal sacrifice to remember Prophet Ibrahim [PBUH]’s oblation. It is an age-old tale of the messenger of Allah’s willingness to sacrifice his son, Prophet Ismail [PBUH], as an act of obedience to Allah’s test.
While everyone else was sacrificing animals to feed the poor in the world, people in Gaza and South Lebanon were, and are still sacrificing their flesh and blood to save the land to which they belong. The land of their ancestors, which has been occupied, attacked, and stolen, proved to be the scale upon which every other precious thing is measured.
On the first day of Eid Al-Adha, the ‘Israeli’ occupation military has committed at least three massacres. The massacres claimed the lives of 41 Palestinians, and left more than 102 injured. One attack against a house in Al-Bureij Camp in central Gaza has left nine martyrs, six of whom were children.
Also on this day, a displaced mother with her four children were injured in Shaqra, South Lebanon. Their injuries were caused by an ‘Israeli’ occupation strike that targeted the place where they sought shelter after fleeing their house in another South Lebanon village, Houla.
Eid al-Adha shrouded in sorrow: Gaza mourns in the wake of 'Israel's' war
In the wake of "Israel's" war on Gaza, Eid al-Adha arrived amid pervasive sorrow and agony, especially as the closure of the Karem Abu Salem and Rafah crossings exacerbates the looming threat of famine in the Gaza Strip, particularly in its northern regions.
Our correspondent reported a notable absence of joy throughout Gaza, with most shops closed, as many of them had been destroyed by Israeli occupation forces. He also noted the glaring absence of the traditional Eid sacrifice ritual, as the people are left with nothing to buy cattle to sacrifice.
Highlighting the role of charitable organizations and societies, our correspondent mentioned that they are purchasing and distributing sacrifices as part of their humanitarian aid efforts.
Against the backdrop of destruction, the people of Gaza have resorted to performing Eid prayers on the ruins of their homes and mosques, such as the al-Omari Mosque.
Abu Obeida: Gaza fighting 'Israel' on behalf of Islamic Ummah
(on behalf of humanity 💡)
The spokesperson for Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, addressed the Islamic Ummah in a message posted on his Telegram channel on Saturday, as Muslims from around the world head to pray on Mount Arafat as part of their Hajj.
Abu Obeida called upon Muslim pilgrims to remember Palestinians and their Resistance during their Hajj as the war on Gaza rages on for more than 250 days.
"We call on the pilgrims to the Sacred House of Allah to remember their brothers in Gaza and Palestine with their sincere prayers in the holy sites and during Hajj rituals and to remember Gaza and its patient people and its mujahideen in these great and blessed times," the spokesperson wrote.
‘Criminal Act’ – Israeli Army Burns Rafah Departure Hall, Severing Gaza’s Connection to World
This incident coincides with ongoing incursions by Israeli military vehicles into Rafah’s Philadelphi Corridor.
The Israeli army burned down on Monday the departure hall on the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing, effectively severing Gaza’s connection to the outside world.
This act follows the Israeli army’s seizure of the Rafah crossing 40 days ago.
The departure hall, along with other facilities and buildings, was set on fire, cutting off communication for Palestinians in Gaza.
Several Palestinian social media accounts shared images showing the departure hall completely engulfed in flames.
This incident coincides with ongoing incursions by Israeli military vehicles into Rafah’s Philadelphi Corridor, a demilitarized buffer zone along Gaza’s border with Egypt.
Israel ‘Lied’ about 'Tactical Pause' as Rafah Crossing Destroyed: Govt.
The Government Information Office in the Gaza Strip says Israel lied about a daily pause of its attacks in southern areas of the Palestinian territory.
The office made the announcement on Monday, a day after the Israeli military claimed that it will carry out a “tactical pause of military activity” every day from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. local time to allow aid trucks to move from the Kerem Shalom crossing up the Salah al-Din road and northwards.
US, Israel Using Starvation to Achieve Political Goals in Gaza: Media Office
The Gaza media office decries the use of starvation as a tool by the United States and Israel to achieve their political goals in Gaza despite the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the besieged Palestinian territory.
The press office said in a statement on Monday that Tel Aviv and Washington are “deliberately aggravating the humanitarian situation” in Gaza.
“We condemn the inhumane crime of starvation used by the occupation and the American administration in a gruesome manner to achieve political goals.”
Some 2.4 million Palestinians are living under extremely harsh circumstances, especially in Gaza’s north where famine has taken hold of the area, it said.
Israeli Forces Kill Another Palestinian Journalist in Gaza
Israeli forces have killed another Palestinian journalist in an airstrike in the Gaza Strip, taking the number of journalists killed in the besieged territory since October to 151.
In an announcement on Monday, the Gaza media office said the regime’s forces killed Mahmoud Qassem, a photojournalist who was working with the local Palestine daily. It did not provide any information on the location and the date of the killing.
Breathing for War Babies – A Poem
Who remembers the war babies?
They cry when the bombs explode
They cry when their parents die
They cry when no one is left
They are collateral damage
Misguided bombs silence their cries
Generals and politicians never decry
Killing war babies is not a crime
Every war has them
Shot by invading armies
Crushed by weight of tanks
Starved by no crops
Shrapnel severs their heads
When the smoke of war clears
The living numb and tortured
Visions of ugliness fill heads
No one remembers the war babies
They are already dead
Hamas: Negotiation traps aimed to undermine Palestinian demands
Regarding the current negotiations, he affirmed that "the Resistance has presented its response to the agreement, and the American administration must pressure the [Israeli] occupation government if it wants to end the war."
Moreover, Abdel Hadi said that "the American administration, through the negotiations, does not want to grant the Resistance any achievements," stressing that "the Resistance cannot concede its demands that preserve the achievements of the Al-Aqsa Flood."
The representative also noted that "the ideas that were being proposed to the Resistance within the framework of the deal contain traps that prevent the fulfilment of the Palestinian people's demands."

Yemeni Drone Boats Change the Game, Disrupt US Navy
For the first time in its history, the United States finds itself facing an exceptionally tough and fierce adversary: the Yemeni Armed Forces. They have changed the battlefield rules so unpredictably that neither the US nor its allies can anticipate Yemeni naval movements and attacks, forcing the US Navy to confront an unexpected opponent using flexible and innovative tactics.
The US is now dealing with unconventional warfare tactics by the Yemeni Armed Forces, which makes adaptation and effective response challenging. This means the Yemeni forces are creating a new reality on the battlefield.

I love that you're suggesting some sort of "peasants Intifada"/coalition to bring criminals to justice. I do have a glimmer of an idea that may or may not be workable. It'll take me a while to sketch it out though, so expect to hear back from me in a couple of days or so (tomorrow if I can manage it). Typically for me, I may go a bit too far for many less revolutionary-spirited souls than myself, but even so, maybe there'll be something in my thinking that others can adapt and run with.
In the meantime I'm working on a post suggesting a kind of "alternative protest" (or "Protestival") involving super Soakers, sound systems, field kitchens and healing spaces. Let's see if I can paint a pretty enough picture of that to trigger people's imaginations! ;)
Sending love and very best wishes. Take good care my friend. ❤️🇵🇸🇵🇸❤️
