The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announces Operation “True Promise 2”

On Tuesday evening, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced Operation “True Promise 2,” targeting important military and security targets in the heart of the occupied Palestinian territories with dozens of missiles.

The Public Relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued successive statements announcing the implementation of Operation True Promise 2 after “a period of restraint against the violation of the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the assassination of the martyred Mujahid Dr. Ismail Haniyeh by the Zionist regime and against the country’s right to legitimate self-defense against the UN Charter and the escalation of the evils of the regime with America’s support in the massacre of Lebanon and Gaza and the martyrdom of the great Mujahid, leader of the Axis of Resistance and Resistance, Secretary-General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the martyrdom of Commander Rashid and the Supreme Advisor of the Revolutionary Guard Corps in Lebanon, Major General Seyyed Abbas Nilforoushan.”

The first statement indicated that “this operation was carried out with the approval of the Supreme National Security Council, notification of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and support from the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Ministry of Defense,” stressing that the entity “will face more crushing and destructive attacks,” “if the Zionist regime responds militarily to this operation that is consistent with the country’s legal rights and international laws.”

The second statement explained that Operation “True Promise 2” targeted with locally-made missiles strategic centers inside the occupied territories, including “air and radar bases; centers of conspiracy and planning for terrorism against the leaders of the resistance, especially the martyr Dr. Ismail Haniyeh and the commander-in-chief of the Lebanese Hezbollah, the martyr His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the military leaders of Hezbollah. The Islamic Resistance in Palestine and the leaders of the Revolutionary Guards were also hit.

The statement stressed that “90% of the attacks successfully hit the targets, although this area was protected by the most advanced and massive defense systems,” noting that “the Zionist regime is terrified by the intelligence and operational dominance of the Islamic Republic,” reiterating that “this operation was carried out within the framework of the right to legitimate defense and based on international laws, and any stupidity of the enemy will be responded to in a devastating and unfortunate manner.”

Mr. Khamenei: Victory is for the people of truth

Following the operation, the Leader of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, posted a picture on his Persian account on the “X” platform, accompanied by the phrase: “Victory from God and an imminent conquest.” On his Arabic account, Sayyed Khamenei posted a video clip that included scenes documenting Iranian missiles in the skies of occupied Palestine and their fall on the occupying entity, accompanied by the phrase: “Victory is the ally of the people of truth.”

Direct hits

The spokesman for the Zionist enemy entity's army acknowledged that there were direct hits in a number of settlements, which led to sirens sounding everywhere, and pushed millions of settlers to shelters, amid a state of panic and terror.

The enemy's media admitted that most of the missiles were directed towards military bases, and in an attempt to cover up the achievements of the Iranian missile attack, the enemy entity's army asked the settlers not to photograph the places where the missiles fell.

The footage showed dozens of Iranian missiles hitting targets in different areas of the occupied Palestinian territories, without the Iron Dome being able to attempt to intercept them.

Great joy in Gaza, the occupied territories, Iran, Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen

In the Gaza Strip, the occupied cities and the West Bank, people in different areas of the Strip celebrated the missiles launched by Iran against the Zionist enemy entity. The scenes showed overwhelming joy among the people of the Strip as they watched waves of Iranian missiles falling on the enemy’s settlements and bases.

There were also widespread celebrations in various squares in the cities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Baghdad, Karbala, Beirut, and the Yemeni capital Sana’a, celebrating the great Iranian operation, amid chants and raising Palestinian flags and pictures of the leader Ismail Haniyeh and the martyr of Muslims and humanity, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, for this honorable response that gladdened the hearts of believers.

Resistance factions bless

Various Palestinian factions have blessed the Iranian missile launches on the occupied territories, and Hamas described the operations as a strong message to curb the enemy’s terrorism, calling on all countries, peoples and parties to “stand as one, confront the Zionist crimes and the aggressive, expansionist Zionist project, and work to liberate our land and our holy sites from the filth of the fascist occupation.”

The military spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, blessed the operation and considered today “an exceptional day in the history of the conflict, in which the fires of the nation’s resistance intersected in the skies of Palestine, and Tel Aviv was exposed to the strikes of the mujahideen from Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine and Iran. This is a call to all the free people of the nation to make a share in the liberation of Palestine.”

The Islamic Jihad Movement blessed the Iranian missile strikes, and said that the painful strikes are part of what this criminal entity deserves, and said, “Today’s strikes have gladdened some of the hearts of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian and Lebanese families who have suffered from the criminality of the ruling gang in Tel Aviv, and behind it the criminal Biden administration that is managing this aggression with unparalleled impudence against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and the peoples of the region.”

The Palestinian Resistance Committees described the operation as a “stunning” response, and said that “the confusion and panic that struck the entity, and the fear that crept into the hearts of the settlers and their leaders, reveal the great weakness and fragility of the Zionist system with all its components,” noting that it “came to imprint an image of divine humiliation on the faces of the Zionists instead of the image that the criminal Benjamin Netanyahu seeks to achieve.”

The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement confirmed that the operation came in the context of a natural response to the enemy’s persistence in its arrogance and crimes, and that the enemy “understands only the language of war and force, and is only deterred by a blow to the head,” and that these qualitative missile strikes “showed the fragility and weakness of the troubled Zionist entity.”

The Palestinian Freedom Movement said that the operation is “the most effective way to deter the occupation from its crimes and rampage in the region.” It stressed that “the Israeli occupation and its Nazi leaders must know that they are no longer the sole controlling force in the region,” and that “the theory of terror and deterrence has become mutual between all parties to the conflict, and it must realize that it must be held accountable for its crimes, assassinations, and its persistence in violating the sovereignty and stability of states.”

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine said, “The brothers in all the resistance factions and forces in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen and the Islamic Republic of Iran, who have been striking the Zionist enemy throughout the past days, and carried out today’s attack to suppress the illusions of the arrogant enemy, have reaffirmed once again that this criminal entity will never know security, and will not survive or continue after all these massacres and crimes that it has committed throughout its bloody history.”

Yemen blesses and confirms its continued effective role in support

The head of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, blessed the operation and considered it “legitimate for self-defense and to discipline the criminal entity,” reiterating “the readiness of the Yemeni armed forces to deter the Americans in the event that they decide to commit any foolishness,” adding, “We will not leave the Americans and Israelis to isolate any of our nation’s sons.”

President Al-Mashat stressed that "no international organization has the right to speak now, while it was maintaining silence and the Zionist enemy was rampaging with its crimes."

For his part, the official spokesman for Ansar Allah, Mohammed Abdul Salam, blessed the Iranian operation, and stressed that “deterring and confronting the Zionist enemy entity is the only way to stop it and prevent it from continuing its brutal crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and in the region.” He saluted “the Islamic Republic of Iran for its support for Palestine and confronting American hegemony in the region.”

In turn, the Ansar Allah Political Bureau blessed the qualitative military operation, and pointed out that “the Islamic Republic of Iran has proven that it is a real supporter of the Palestinian cause after many Arab and Islamic regimes abandoned it,” noting that “some Arab and Islamic regimes have deviated with the compass of hostility towards Islamic Iran instead of the Zionist entity, the actual and historical enemy of the nation.”

The Ansar Allah Political Bureau appreciated “this great role played by the Islamic Republic in supporting the resistance and the oppressed,” stressing once again that “Yemen will remain active in the battle of support until the aggression against Palestine and Lebanon stops.”
