Irma Bandiera “Mimma”

1st among Bolognese women to fight with the partisans. Captured and tortured while fighting the German SS she did not compromise her comrades. After she was blinded, she was cruelly slaughtered on the public road and left there as a warning to anti fascists.

🇺🇦‼️ The Babi Yar massacre happened during September 29-30 in 1941.

With the Yaroslav Hunka incident, everybody should watch this survivor story. To understand what such Ukrainian volunteers were doing during WW2.

I've always wondered how Italy was an "enemy state" during WW2 when Mussolini was arrested and imprisoned. Hitler invaded and imposed Mussolini on Italy. The partisans were fighting the Nazis and the fascist brigades along with the Allies. Meanwhile the "Allies" destroyed Italy with their bombings, flying so low you could see the planes from the windows. They knew exactly who and what they were bombing, homes, hospitals etc.. After the war the Allies aligned with the fascists and terrorized Italy with gladio ops. We all know that the Allies worked with Hitler so I have a very different perspective of WW2. I might right about it in the future. In the mean time there is this from the US and their gladio ops.

Richard Washburn Child

Child was rewarded with a post as US Ambassador to Italy in 1921, a job he held for three years. He became very close to Italian fascist leader Benito Mussolini, and in fact helped to persuade Mussolini to make his famous “March on Rome”, which helped bring him to power. He was a major factor in the J.P. Morgan Bank investing heavily in Italy after Mussolini came to power in 1922. He returned to the US in 1925 and became editor of “The Saturday Evening Post”.

In 1928 he went to work full-time as a paid propaganda writer for Mussolini. He organized Mussolini’s notes into an autobiography which he wrote (uncredited, although he was credited for writing the foreword), and had it serialized in “The Saturday Evening Post”. He never lost his admiration for Mussolini’s fascist philosophy and politics, and wrote many newspaper and magazine articles–especially for the Hearst press–effusively praising Mussolini and his fascist governing style.

I knew the USA was behind the rise of Mussolini a 39 year old nobody just like Elensky. Still researching, I want to look up old Italian newspapers of the times if possible.

Benito Mussolini, Italy’s dictator from 1922 to 1943, is perhaps best‐remembered as Hitler’s inept ally who was strung up by his outraged countrymen.

But he originated an economic system — economic fascism — that was acclaimed in his heyday, influenced U.S. economic policy during the 1930s, and is surprisingly similar to some of President Obama’s policies.
