Before we get into the News Roundup, I want to welcome all new followers and subscribers. I apologize for not being able to visit all newcomers Substacks yet but I will get there eventually. US pier a 'lie', 'conspiracy' that exposed US intentions: Media Office
The Palestinian Government Media Office in Gaza has announced that medical evacuations have been blocked, noting that 25,000 injured Palestinians have been denied travel for critical medical treatment after the Rafah crossing was burned down and taken over by Israeli occupation forces.
Similarly, since the occupation of the Rafah border crossing, humanitarian aid has been halted with 15,000 trucks carrying essential supplies stranded at the Egyptian side of the border crossing as their entry continues to be blocked by Israeli occupation forces. This blockade is significantly worsening the famine in the Gaza Strip, which has reached critical levels in Gaza City and the northern portion of the Strip.
The director of the Government Media Office in Gaza further highlighted in a press conference that the situation is particularly dire in the northern regions, where the floating pier, purportedly established to aid the situation, has failed to mitigate the worsening famine. In fact, added the director, the pier was used during the Nuseirat massacre, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries.

Syria calls on the remaining international community to stop Zionist crimes against the Palestinians
Damascus, SANA-Syria called on the remaining international community to work and to stop the crime of human genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people, and to stop its crimes against international law and the United Nations Charter.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement “The Zionist occupation authorities have followed up on the crimes of human genocide they are committing in the Gaza Strip in particular and in the rest of the Palestinian territories, and the toll of massacres committed by the fascist occupation forces reached 47 martyrs and 121 wounded yesterday alone, and with this the number of Palestinian casualties has risen since the beginning of the Israeli aggression and its crimes against the Palestinian people to 37,598 martyrs and 86,032 wounded, with thousands of martyrs still under the rubble and on the roads where ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
The Ministry added: “Since the end of World War II until today, humanity has not heard of crimes more horrific than the crimes of the Israeli entity in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and we note the condemnation of the vast majority of the international community for these crimes.” the heinous acts committed by “Israel”, but we have not seen any impact of these positions on the leaders of the racist Zionist entity, who have made human annihilation their slogan and a goal they seek to maintain their occupation of the Palestinian territories and other occupied Arab territories.”
The Ministry affirmed that the continuous talk of the Zionists and their allies from the Western camp about expanding this war in various directions comes as a true reflection of what Syria and other countries in the world have warned about since 1948 until now.

Iraqi resistance to fight Israel ‘at zero distance,’ official warns
An Iraqi official has warned that the country’s resistance fighters would engage the Israeli regime “at zero distance” if the latter realized its threats of waging a war against Lebanon.
The comments were made on Monday by Abu Alaa al-Walae, secretary-general of the Sayyed Al-Shuhada Brigades.
The brigades is a component of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), a coalition of resistance movements in the Arab country. It is also part of Iraq’s Islamic Resistance, which is an umbrella group of anti-terror fighters.
The Islamic Resistance has been staging numerous strikes against targets lying across the occupied Palestinian territories since October 7, 2023 when the Israeli regime began waging a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip.
So far, the Iraqi fighters have been “striking the Zionist enemy's strongholds from a distance of over 800 kilometers (497 miles),” Walae said.
The “geographical barrier will [however] be removed if the Zionist entity commits the folly of waging war on Lebanon,” he added.

Revolutionary Diplomat: A Tribute to Hossein Amir Abdollahian
The Tehran Times' special edition on June 22, 2024, pays homage to Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Iran's former Foreign Minister, who tragically perished in an air crash. This edition reflects on his impactful career and unwavering dedication to Iran's diplomatic efforts.
Amir Abdollahian was a prominent figure in international diplomacy, recognized for his ethical conduct, humility, and deep understanding of regional and global developments. Throughout his career, he maintained close relationships with leaders and supporters of the resistance front, highlighting his commitment to advocating for the oppressed, particularly during the recent Gaza conflict.
One notable incident involved a European foreign minister expressing distress over Iran's missile and drone strikes on the apartheid “Israeli” entity. Amir Abdollahian pointedly responded by questioning the lack of concern for the six months of relentless bombardment on Gaza, which resulted in the deaths of thousands of women and children. This exchange underscored his dedication to justice and his ability to confront double standards in international politics.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei described Amir Abdollahian as an active and dedicated diplomat. His career exemplified the symbiotic relationship between field operations and diplomacy, proving that both elements are crucial for effective international relations.
The late FM’s diplomatic acumen was evident in his efforts to resolve the frozen asset issue with South Korea and his strategic moves to enhance Iran's international standing through multilateral diplomacy. His legacy includes increasing foreign exchanges, unfreezing significant financial resources, and securing Iran's presidency of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue.
His contributions extended beyond regional diplomacy, forging strong ties with world leaders and promoting Iran's role in global organizations like the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Eurasian Economic Union. His commitment to multilateralism and regional security, along with his advocacy for justice at the United Nations, left an indelible mark on international diplomacy.
His colleagues and international counterparts alike mourned his passing, recognizing his profound impact on Iran's foreign policy and regional diplomacy.

Israel Targets US Campuses with PR Blitz, Pushes to Redefine Antisemitism in Law Amid Gaza War
As the Gaza war rages, Israeli funds target US college campuses and push to redefine antisemitism in US law.
Last November, just weeks into the war in Gaza, Amichai Chikli, a brash, 42-year-old Likud minister in the Israeli government, was called into the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, to brief lawmakers on what could be done about rising anti-war protests from young people across the United States, especially at elite universities.
“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again now, that I think we should, especially in the United States, be on the offensive,” argued Chikli.
Chikli has since led a targeted push to counter critics of Israel. The Guardian has uncovered evidence showing how Israel has relaunched a controversial entity as part of a broader public relations campaign to target US college campuses and redefine antisemitism in US law.

Haiti’s Potential Hydrocarbon Deposits
The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), issued in May 1980 a report under the Caribbean Development and Cooperation Committee (CDCC), describing the likelihood of large oil deposits in the Caribbean, including off-shore of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, see this. Haiti is also said to have trillions of dollars-worth of off-shore natural gas, see this.
These discoveries were likely made in the 1970s and 1980s, perhaps earlier, by US satellite imaging. US satellites have mapped the world for hydrocarbon resources already at least 50 years ago. Such information used to be available on internet – no longer.

RICARDO CANDIA
The Chilean president poses hugging a contemporary Nazi, with the sweetest of gestures.
The Chilean president, Gabriel Boric, seems not to know that a Nazi clique dominates Ukraine, that it’s people are being used as cannon fodder for the expansionist efforts of the United States. Nor that the sanctions against Russia have turned towards the countries that promoted it. Nor that Ukraine lost not only a large part of its territory, but hundreds of thousands of soldiers, despite the enormous resources, have been injected into the war. Nor that an important part of Zelenzky's financial support for the regime has ended up in the corrupt hands of his leaders. And, incidentally, to enrich the US military-industrial complex.
Does Boric know that, in March 2022, a peace agreement had been reached that was scrapped due to the interference of Great Britain that ended with the Ukrainian negotiators murdered by Ukrainian intelligence?

G7 ITALY: A WAR SUMMIT | WIDE ANGLE – PANGEA (IT)
Article and broadcast by Manlio Dinucci.
The mainstream presented the G7 Summit in Puglia, under the Italian presidency, as a sort of great social event, ignoring the final Communiqué: a document of around 40 pages with which the G7 - composed of the 6 major NATO powers plus Japan, the main NATO partners in East Asia – set out their agenda. They denounce Russia for “its brutal and unjustifiable war of aggression against Ukraine, and its flagrant violation of international law and the fundamental principles that underpin the international order.”
They then announce that “the G7 will launch extraordinary loans, in order to make available approximately $50 billion in additional financing for Ukraine by the end of the year, and that these loans will be repaid from revenues arising from the immobilization of Russian sovereign assets “detained” in the European Union .” The G7 then declares that “ China 's continued support for Russia's defense industrial base is allowing Russia to maintain its illegal war in Ukraine ” and directs China to “cease the transfer of dual-use materials to Russia.” 🤡

China taking countermeasures against companies, executives involved in US arms sales to Taiwan
CCTV: On June 21, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a decision on its website on countermeasures against Lockheed Martin’s entities and senior executives. Do you have any further comment?
Mao Ning: The US arms sales to China’s Taiwan region seriously violate the one-China principle and the three China-US joint communiqués, interfere in China’s internal affairs, and undermine China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. In accordance with the law, China took countermeasures against relevant company’s entities and senior executives that are engaged in arms sales to Taiwan.
Let me stress that the Taiwan question is at the core of China’s core interests, and the first red line that cannot be crossed in China-US relations. No country, organization or individual shall underestimate the strong determination, will and ability of the Chinese government and people to defend our sovereignty and territorial integrity, or be under the illusion that they could tread or even cross the line on the Taiwan question without any consequence.
